How is the show on PS4?

Pretty sure OD said he picked it up. I havent heard from him since so it must be damn good.

I havent got it and probably wont. Dont have the patience for MLB games.

It's awesome! I am new to PlayStation after being an Xbox guy for years. Havent had a PlayStation since 2. Very happy with my purchase.

The Show is awesome. Amazing graphics and it is a challenging game at this point. I am in a franchise with the Phillies and currently struggling to stay on or above .500. Im 7-8 right now. Its fun because of the challenge and how realistic it is.

I cant compare it to previous Show versions because this is my frist time playing it, but comparing it to Xbox MLB 2k it blows it out of the water.

I'll say so far the announcers have yet to repeat themselves. It's quiet impressive.

The show has always been the most challenging sports game for me. Usually with NBA2k or Madden I'm pretty dominant

Can you still create players in these games? I remember back in the day you could make all 99 players in Madden..

not sure about creating players. haven't tried yet...

But this game is extremely challenging, I just cant get into a groove. Which is good because usually I start to dominate games after a couple games and it becomes repetitive and easy after awhile....not The Show..Currently on a 3 game losing streak and although frustrating, it makes it a good challenge.

Fifa is pretty challenging as well. In my 3rd yr with athletico and all I have is a champions league title as I was never able to win the spanish cup and I finished 3rd and 4th in the league in my first 2 seasons

The game mechanics on MLB The Show are awesome. I'm still playing MLB The Show 13, but will finally get 14 this week. It's pretty cool to see how far baseball games have come since the days of Ken Griffery Jr baseball and Tonly LaRussa baseball. Not just the graphics, but the overall realness and fluidity of the game play is unreal. They just came out with RBI 14, but I can't pull myself away from MLB The Show franchise.

Yup, you can. Can even import your own music for their player entrance. 'Careless Whisper' for Josh Reddick ftw! lol.

It's a pretty awesome game. I just don't like how in Road To The Show the base buttons change if you're an infielder. I love how you get to skip all of the BS and go to the next play you're involved in though.

I do miss some mechanics about 2k13... but overall The Show is harder but light years better looking and feels more realistic.

Still learning though.

Like someone before, I was a long-timer Xbox owner that switched to PS4.... and I can't say I have any regrets. I have been quite impressed. But then again, I am a core gamer who has no need for Kinect or any of the TV functionality MSFT tried to sell with their console.

My only complaint about the Kinect is that in some games like NBA2K14 and Madden is that it there are buggy voice controls. You can cough or clear your throat and in Madden it will want to audible or something. In NBA if it thinks you're saying anything close to a swear word (and most of the time I'm not until after) it will call a technical foul on the user.
