How is it called cheating when everyone can see the signs from catcher. How is it called cheating when tv cameras zoom in on the catcher's hands. How is it called cheating when every team has the same signs for pitch type. This shit is just stupid to me. Cheating or stealing signs for me, is the Astros breaking into team's offices and stealing computer files. Just change your pitch signs so that your fastball sign won't be like every team in the damn league.

I take my cues on whether something violated a written or unwritten rule from baseball's resident curmudgeon, Brian McCann. Apparently he was against the scheme but was overruled by Beltran. But if McCann was against it there was something that made it worse than normal sign stealing.

Its going to be hard to stop cheating when so much money is at stake. Next we will find that pitchers are using bullfrog sun screen to grease the ball. Or players in the dugout banging on trashcans to alert the batter of the next pitch. But do it and you risk being in the Astros position sued by an out of work pitcher
