2 or 3 are the most ideal and 4 if I have to. 1 isn't done yet.

#2 with brown mustard & relish.
I boil them in Budweiser than grill them if time allows.

I tell you want handles the beer boil prep well...brats, Italian sausage, and Polish kielbasa.

Slow boil them in beer and onion mixture for about an hour or so...then put them on the grill...again fairly slow cook...they retain that beer/onion flavor along with the grill flavor...I go with spicy mustard alone or with fresh onions on mine...uhmm uhmm.

They are a hit every time I make them, often from people that say they don't eat hotdogs much.

Exactly what and how I do it.
Charcoal or charcoal and wood. Gas is for the hipsters that grow perfectly manicured beards and role their pant cuffs up.

This fuckin guy knows his shit too.

Thanks...when it comes to grilling I do know a lil something. This is one of those instances where I go both ways.

In this day and age you need to be clear on statements such as that....I mean gas and lump charcoal, only lump charcoal...Pic of my grilling pad set up. By all means I would put the brats on the Primo (the black grill).
