How about the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I know the 2014 Corvette is the hot subject of the week, but Detroit also had the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Besides the changes in design, there's also a new diesel engine. A breath of fresh air for Chrysler maybe?

I test drove a 2013 Overland this weekend, and it was much nicer than I expected. They're built on a Mercedes ML platform, so the ride and chassis are quite comfortable and very non 'truck like,' which is what I wanted

But yeah, it's gotta be a diesel if you can get one. The performance and economy difference has just gotten ridiculous since the common rail has been improved.

Do Grand Cherokees hold up yet? I know they have had a bad reputation for just not lasting like a foreign SUV. I've liked the look of the last couple of years worth of Grand Cherokee, but when they cost as much as a 4Runner I can't justify not going with the tried and true. I KNOW the 4runner will last me 10 years.

I loved my '94 and almost kick myself every time I turn the key in my 4Runner. Not saying I don't love my Toyota, but my Jeep was perfect...

I grew up around Wagoneers and it's one of my top all-time vehicles.

Probably going to be like when Dodge brought back the Power Wagon. Man was I thrilled to hear that. That thing was a beast and one of the most identifiable trucks I can think of.

Then they reveal it, and it is a Ram 2500 with a fucking badge on it.
