he would need more reps both in practice, and in the game to be effective.
it wouldn't be much of an improvement, or he would already be starting somewhere.
Since we're being silly, lets trade for Tebow. Tebow! Tebow! TEEEEEEBow!
in seriousness, this is what we bargained for, we drafted a second round QB and gave him a few first round weapons and a shitty running game. This is what is supposed to happen.
Damn, I sure wouldn't. Dalton and Green are good, no point in messing with that. You want Dalton to get better, give him a f'n running game, or it does not matter what QB is back there behind our OL.
Dalton still has a chance to improve....it's only his second year.....he has already improved in some areas(completion percentage, and YPA), he just needs to take better care of the ball, and show he can be successful against good teams.....he deserves the remainder of this year plus next year before a firm decision can be made on him.....look at Cam Newton, he totally sucks this year, so far.....I don't know if a good game this week will mean anything, as I don't think the Steelers are really a good team right now.......
I think Dalton will get better and may have a good year here or there and should continue to start. You're crazy if you think he'll ever consistently be a top 10 qb in the league, though.
our owner was stuck in the headlights of being forced to spend money next year, so we're sorta screwed with BJGE as our "work haus" cuz he "never fumblz dood"
next year we better fix the damned running situation or this team can just phone in a loss every week.
Not sure how Gradkowski would do in this offense, but under any circumstance, they will not be benching Dalton, so it's really a moot point. As a 2nd year player, he is playing much better than he would need to to keep his starting job.
