He's playing well. Wasn't he primarily a corner @ LSU? I never thought he was a natural for that position (not a shutdown guy, to be sure, and Bama kind of exposed him), and that he was a 'tweener due to size to play safety/nickleback. But he is, apparently, working out.

People just saw his size and character issues and wrote him off, but his instincts and ball skills are off the charts. He'll be great for a long time.

Good for him. I liked him coming into the draft and wanted NE to take him. We got Harmon instead....Oh well.....

I always liked watching him play. Innate playmaking ability and incredible effort. Wish he was on my team,

He was a corner at LSU. But I agree, I think he would get eaten up by NFL caliber WR's. Free safety is a natural fit for him. It allows him to use his ballhawking abilities. The thing that I find most impressive is his understanding of reading plays. He reads the QB well and seems to be around the ball all the time. Hopefully Patrick Peterson continues to be a mentor. If he continues to keep his nose clean, he could be special for years to come.

Stop the presses! A pro' athlete "doesn't care" what "the haters" say. :D

I, on the other hand, hang on the haters' every word.

Unfortunately I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the off of the field issues creep back into the spotlight.
