m's getting runs when it counts in so many games. surreal.
They are just off today. Hancock is the first pitcher in history to not pitch well in Seattle.
Why Cal is the best
No. Injuries have hampered him and right now he looks lost and broken down. With all the top prospects we have would you deal one or two of them for Sandy Alcantara? Under contract for two more years after this one. Off to a rough start, but a good pitcher normally.
I saw his highlights vs Dodgers and he couldn't even get it to the plate. Something is broken there. I don't have faith in Gilbert finishing the year so picking up a #2 would be huge. I was thinking Sonny Gray as being a good option, but Sandy's name has been bouncing around again (not with the Mariners) so I was curious. He is cheaper now than ever to get.No. Injuries have hampered him and right now he looks lost and broken down.
I am with you on this. He is easy to cheer for, and it is sad to see him go out this way. I know he isn't done, but it hasn't been good for him these last few years. I am hoping he goes out with a bang whenever that point is as long as it isn't vs us.I've always been a fan of Mike Trout, even though he plays for a division rival. I think it's a bit unfortunate seeing the latter of his career marred with injuries. He's 33, so I think he has a few good years left in him if he can stay healthy... he just can't. This year, it looks like he's on track to have the most ABs since the 2022 but he's injured again today. Such a shame for a such a monster player early in his career.
