Not to spoil the current feel goods around this team, but, approximately 9.5 months ago, on June 18th, the Mariners beat the Indians and improved their season record to 44-31, building their division lead to a full 10 games. They then went 8-17 over their next 25 games, blowing the entire 10 game lead.

Braves optioned Kelenic. Poor kid. Can't get out of his own head and fell down a rabbit hole. The disturbing thing is that I feel like I'm seeing the same thing happening to Julio.

It could end up being that the only thing Kelenic will be remembered for is tagging Cal with that most unflattering of nicknames.
