Running back (McFadden looked good yesterday) but he is not the long term answer
2nd WR that finishes plays every play (butler might be that guy ) along with a WR route running coach
Qb to groom for Romo's replacement
a real kick and punt returner

Season is a long way from over but the boys without Romo and Dez look really bad as would most any team without their starting QB and WR

Just my thoughts on the 2-4 mess this season is so far

I think Lucky will be a solid kick returner and would like to see him instead of Beasly returning punts.

I just don't like the size of whitehead returning kick offs. He did Ok yesterday but that tip toe stuff when their running 40 yards down field will get a little guy killed. Least on punts it two gunners, not 9

After a game bad things go into 1 or 2 categories for me. It's broken or it was a fuck up.
So much of yesterday were fuck ups.

Some of the numbers tell you that

First downs Boys 27 Giants 13
Passing 227 157
rushing 233 132
total yards 460 289
turnover 4 0
TOP 38 21

Look at some of those numbers. When was the last time we held Eli to 157 yards? That could be a career low against the Cowboys. There was a game last year that he was close to 500 yards.

Did anyone notice the Cowboys are 7th in the league in yards allowed? (but they do allow a lot of points)

This season is a mess because Romo and Dez are out. If the season goes to hell in a hand basket so be it.
Because I know when Romo and Dez are back 100% ..this squad can give any team in the league a run for their money.

Just remember this all started with a 28 point first half vs the Falcons. I thought we could actually win 5 of the 7 w/o Romo. We could use a little luck

Dallas is fine and Im taking bets that they win the division. They are missing the MVP runner up at QB and the best red zone threat in the NFL. If they can beat Seattle they are one game out of first. The Giants are awful. The Eagles dont have a player who can catch the ball. The Redskins are a joke too.

Even after all these loses Dallas is going to be fine in about a month.
