yeah I see that point, sir

just pointing out that a lot of people seriously think that we play teams like New Mexico every week.

we could have had a good 4 team group had San Diego State's quarterback not decided to suck this year, or Air Force's whole defense didn't get injured and if TCU could just play 4 quarters.

I agree you cant control how good your opposition is.

yeah everyone but Georgia took a complete dump this year.

and Georgia would have done better for us had they not given up just one more of those crazy plays South Carolina got on them.

I really only want to see a 4 team playoff so we get a clearer champion and the regular season still has meaning

that's about all I could get behind too. Let's face it if your'e not in the top 4 you really don't have much of an argument about getting into the "playoff"

There will still be bitching but it would keep the regular season important while not completely ruling out a team from having a chance with one loss to a good team (like maybe an Oregon team :) )

A 4 team playoff would mean more to me in crowning a champion than the current system .The only other option would be to go the route of the super conference which i'm not completely sold on

I like a 4 team playoff. Maybe even 8.

Take the top 8 right now, its possible these same teams are top 8(in different orders) at the end of the year.

1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma St
4. Boise St
5. Clemson
6. Stanford
7. Oregon
8. Kansas St

They should all get an equal chance if they have 1 loss or less.

I think even 8 is really too many.

although the slippery slope would take us there the first time the #5 team was undefeated. BSU could be outside the top 4 this year by season's end and still be without a loss.

LOL!! Craig James is a complete hater

I like how things are going, BCS rankings higher on us than I am

the tool hates us

and finally some upsets

what I'm hoping for is

LSU beats Bama, then loses to Arkansas

Stanford loses to Oregon

Oklahoma State loses to Oklahoma AND Oklahoma loses to Kansas State or someone else

by note of this Kansas State has lost to Oklahoma State

Clemson loses to Georgia Tech or South Carolina

actually this would be quite the mix up

what happens in this scenario???? suddenly Boise State is likely in, who else gets in Oregon?? or does LSU stay in front of Oregon despite the loss??

In this scenario, one of the bids would go to Arkansas, LSU or Bama, whoever ended up winning the west and likely the SECCG, or another one loss version left out of the SECCG, should the west winner lose. The other team would be Ok St., Oregon or Michigan State.

In order for Boise to get in, all SEC teams need two losses, Oklahoma, Orwgon, MSU and possibly Clemson need two losses. Only one of the above could survive if Boise wants in. They have peaked this week (may last one more) in the BCS.
