Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy bacon
I don't know if I should be happy about this or not, but you gotta think that Shinky is going to be on the opening night roster for the Canucks with the Kassian suspension.
anybody watching WSH/BOS on NHL Network?
Ben Eager is a mental midget:

Ben Eager on the Canucks: “We play them a lot down the stretch, and we’re going to go after their skill players also."
That's exactly why we got him (The Miller incident) The Bruins announcer mentions it at the end of this video. I'm not a big Scott fan but I will say since we picked him up we have a winning record against the Bruins and Lucic plays the game like a choir boy. He saw what happened to Thornton.
1) Buffalo Head Coach sends John Scott out to calm things down against the Phil Kessel line.
2) I see a bunch crying that Kessel (who I hate) slashed away at him. do you expect?? The guy is a foot taller and 70 pounds bigger and his entire NHL career (4 years) has 5 points. What would you do against that fucking bigfoot? Drop em, man up and go toe to toe.....lmfao
1) Wrong
2) Kessel was talking shit before the face-off and Scott told him exactly what was going to happen. Kessel had plenty of time to run away instead of looking like a disgrace by slashing at a guy who's back is turned and tied up with a bunch of other people. Then he spears him to top it all off.
He could have ran behind the ref, told him to blow the whistle, and still saved face IMO.
LOLOLOL
And you guys call me a homer..
Anybody else think that's a tad harsh for a first time offender (at least as far as NHL/pro hockey is concerned).
/10 minute phone hearing, sounds to me that Shanny had his mind pretty much made up before the phone call.
Yes, I forget that telling it like it happened, instead of jumping to conclusions that lead to a misinformed rant, is a sure sign of being a homer.

rotf.
I watched the entire thing. So your defending John Scott going after Kessel?
Are you going to ignore the fact that you went off on Rolston and called him an idiot even though he didn't put Scott out there just to fight Kessel?
Besides, Carlyle had the ability to make a change after seeing Scott still out there, and he still put Kessel out there. So who's the idiot now?
And what did Scott do to Kessel, scare him? That still doesn't justify using your stick as a weapon, especially when that player has his back to him and no longer a threat.
Scott went right after Kessel once the puck dropped. If that was Lucic against any player you and everyone else would be screaming for a suspension and calling him a bitch or whatever. Admit that cause you know it to be true.
If you're trying to somehow say that Scott going after Kessel is worse than what Lucic did to Miller, you're wrong.
And what did Scott do overall to Kessel? He never touched him, so how do you know he was really going to go through with it? I mean he had to know that Kessel wouldn't fight him, and the Leafs would send someone over there to intervene, so I really think he just wanted to get a rise out of him and the Leafs. Scott only has 1 redeming skill in the NHL, fighting, and I think he was feeling a bit left out at the party.
As normal. You made a statement and I backed off my original post. Agreed that I was wrong on Rolsten. Yet you completely ignore the question that if that was Lucic going after Kessel or any smaller player that you and everyone who is not a Bruins fan would be calling for a suspension.
Also I was not the one who compared the 2 incidents. Please look back at the my quoted first post in this thread. Thanks
he playing tonight?
give him a couple shifts with the sedins
I'm not saying that Scott going after Kessel isn't wrong, but the fact remains that he didn't touch him. If Scott nailed him against the boards and started to beat on him, then yeah, I would say it was a dick move, and he should be suspended. That didn't happen, and only the players know exactly what was said on the ice before all the chaos started.
You came out guns blazing treating your opinions as fact when you were wrong, and then tried to defend it by saying you watched the whole game. I'm glad you finally realize that a couple of your statement are wrong, and I hope you really don't support the actions of Kessel using his stick like that?
