This will probably be the shortest thread because I'm sure I will get my answer quick but........How do they determine what games are covered on TSN and CBC? I see some of the conf finals games are on CBC and some not.

Boss, I'm not sure how it all shakes down (some google searching would probably reveal the answer), but CBC has exclusive rights to the Stanley Cup final. CBC and TSN select the series they want to air for the first and second rounds, and TSN gets to show three games in round 3 and they're showing the first three games of the Kings - Yotes series.

After that, it's CBC all the way through to the end for the Conference finals and the Stanley Cup final series.

i know that in the past TSN got first round only and for years that was it. then second round came in and now part 3rd round but CBC gets the Final in Canada

that will probably change in the coming years. I think TSN will get ALL hockey and CBC will have nothing.

considering the leafs are equally owned by TSN and sports net I think we can safely say it won't matter if they become relevant again
