Except when the sports gods cause an injury, case in point Nate McMillian getting injured cost the Sonics their championship over the Bulls. It's week 3, week 3 last year it looked like Carroll was getting close to hopping on the hot seat and Wilson was destined for the CFL.

Um, if you think Nate McMillan was the difference between the Sonics and a championship over the Bulls, you are on drugs. They had no shot of beating Jordan and the Bulls. None! Just like every other team the Bulls faced. So your case and point is null and void.

You are right about injuries. They can strike at anytime. So to think any team is automatic to make the Superbowl is crazy. This is the NFL. There is not a lot that separates the worst teams from the best teams. One key injury to any team can completely change the outcome of their season.

Yea, after the Bulls won the first 3 and put it into cruse control. As good as Nate Mcmillan was, they were not beating the bulls. imo. But this isn't a Bulls Sonics forum so I will focus on the point. Injuries can change any teams fate......Unless you are playing Jordan.
