Yeah, but college production hardly ever translates. What does is skillsets, and Gordon has very good one. I'm not even looking at his numbers, just his ability.

Either way, that is why they get drafted highly in the first place.

I disagree. Production is a factor, but physical skillsets win out. For instance, those Wisconsin RBs were all very productive, usually some of the most productive runners in CFB in their respective years. But aside from Dayne they weren't high picks. Ball was the next highest at the very bottom of the 2nd.

Doesn't that go hand in hand? Without having their skill set they don't have their production.

I have him projected as a steal to the Titans in the 3rd. :D

I feel Tennessee could move back and still get Gordon in the mid-teens. But hey if they want to spend it on him more power to them.

If he thinks Gordon is going to be there in the 3rd I think he needs to start sharing what he's got cause it's obviously GOOD shit.

I don't think he gets the 293 to break Sanders record.

No chance this guy falls out of the top 5-6.

No one is going to draft a RB in the top 5-6...I just don't see it. Too little return on investment for that pick. RB's are just not as important as they were even just 5 years ago.

To me if I am a coach and especially picking top-10 they have to have both skillset and production if I am going to draft them. I hate seeing teams get wrapped up in the "potential" side of things with players. Gordon to me at this point has shown he has a great skill set where it isn't just the OL dominating but it is him making guys miss when he has those one-on-one opportunities. He is also a guy who can run between the tackles but has enough speed to hit the edge and take it to the house. So to me he has shown he has both production and a skill set that works for the NFL. The only question I would have with him would be vision. That is the hardest thing to tell with RB's coming out of college as they are used to hitting pretty big holes.
