Things aren't looking too great for our M's right now and I'm sure there's a lot of frustration going around

But I just watched Felix's perfect game shown on root sports and watched this video of Dave Niehaus's best calls and I feel a little glimmer of hope returning

It's still a long year. We still have time to regain some semblance of an average offense. Morales will eventually turn it around. Austin Jackson looks like a real solid addition already. Ackley...maybe this is him figuring it out. Paxton being back helps as well.

Gives me goosebumps listening to his calls. Broadcasters like Niehaus come around once in a lifetime. I am proud to say that I was able to listen to him call Mariners games my entire life, every time I hear Dave Sims' voice I think about how much I miss Niehaus.

Not only was Dave Niehaus legendary at painting a picture of what was going on at the Kingdome/Safeco, but his passion for the game and energy he put into his calls is unrivaled by anyone I've ever heard call a game.

To bad the current Mariners don't have the heart that the 95 team had, except probably Felix.
