It's been mentioned here that Jon Gruden would possibly be interested in the Nebraska job...

I actually think he could win big here. The guy would bring in a legendary staff and his recruiting would be off the charts.

I would take him over bo no question.

I've heard/read that before (maybe from you...lol)....

What if any connection does Gruden have to Nebraska/why would he want the job?

I don't think anybody knows.....we will all find out together if the entire football staff is fired 2nd week in January we know the new guy has a short leash....


I don't think that will happen, but I do worry about the new AD and whether he will get what Nebraska is......I don't think it's easy for outsiders to grasp......

Gruden would absolutely never come here.......he just knows better than that.

We will not hire a big name coach here........it can't happen. The only thing we could ever possibly get to take on this mess with this impossible fanbase would be a guy simply looking to fill his wallet.........a guy like Bill Callahan.

Of their 2 wins they trailed for 5 of the 8 total quarters.
They were tied for 1 quarter.

@ N'Western W 29-28 (trailed 3 quarters) (won by 1 pt)

By a combined 4 points.....I don't think you want me to add up all the scores to see how badly combined we were outscored by the 4 AQ teams we've played so far......Truth is with the way we've played, we are damn lucky to have won two of those games.....

Yep....I'll give you that.....the team doesn't quit(unlike some fans who are throwing game overs and turning the game off in the 3rd quarter)......we've now had 3 fucking bad ass come from behind victories in a year and a half in the B1G.....

A few of my friends told me they turned the game off when it was 28-16.........I do not feel sorry for them one bit.

I thought we still had a chance to win even after getting down by 12 late in the game, but I knew we had to score on that first drive to have any chance whatsoever.
