Hendricks' Motors?

Sitting here watching practice and Danica just blew a motor and I think that makes the 3rd Hendrick motor to let go already.

HMS might need to be worried, but the ECR engines are stout.

5 of the top 6 in 1st practice & 3 of the top 5 in 2nd practice. Ryan Newman 2nd, 1st practice & 1st in the 2nd practice.

yes. but their engine program is called ECR. (Earnhardt Childress Racing) They supply a bunch of Chevy teams kinda like HMS does

I was under the distinct impression that the Earnhardt name other than Jr's was being phased out of racing. Chip Ganassi re-named his race team to not include the Earnhardt name and supposedly the article I read on the Jaycee website stated it was going out altogether but apparently nobody told Richard Childress.

Wouldn't worry about HMS. I'd say its 95% chance that stuff was experimental. This is a throwaway event anyway

EGR (Ganassi's team) had to have the Earnhardt name in it for however many years because of the other businesses (& sponsors) that were attached to DEI at the time.

ECR had nothing to do with DEI the race team. Other than Dale Sr. When Andy Petree was apart of the engine Program way back in the day. It was called RAD (Richard Andy Dale) Not to sure RC will ever take his buddy's name off the Engine program, but never say never I guess.

Honestly I normally just respond to things on this racing site. I am apart of like 3 other racing sites I do my main chit chatting on. So I really don't post so much here. (racing section)
