Seems like the 12" has the newer technology. The USB-C port means we'd have to get an adapter for USB-A stuff. Not sure how much USB-C is going to be used in the future.

It's kind of your choice between a better display vs a better battery. Unless it's going to be used on the go a lot to the point where the battery would make a difference I'd probably go with the 12".I won a raffle for a new MacBook and they just asked me whether I want the 12" MacBook Retina or the 13" MacBook Air. I'm looking at specs and damn if I know which to choose.

At home I work on a 5K iMac, but my travel computer is a new 15" MacBook Pro
I tried switching to the 13" to have something lighter when I travel, but I need the screen size more than the portability. If they made a 17" I'd wait in line to buy it.
