That sharp pain you just felt was the impending announcement that Charlie Morton will need TJ surgery and will not be back this season.
I have no desire to see any more of Brad Lincoln or Kevin Correia in the rotation, so it is time to see if Rudy Owens and/or Jeff Locke and/or JoJo Reyes can actually pitch at the major league level.

That stinks. As we have seen the past two games, we don't give ourselves much chance to win on days when Lincoln or Correia toes the rubber.

Lincoln belongs in middle relief, and Correia in long relief. Hopefully at least one of Owens, Locke, or Reyes can step in for us, or we can get Karstens healthy. We can live with one of Correia or Lincoln in the rotation, but not both.
