Judging by the photo, it looks like the Pens and Caps will be kicking it old-school.

That's a football only stadium right? Those are better than the Baseball stadiums because of the site lines. The game here was great because the site lines were good.

Still want to see if any city sells out the classic faster than Buffalo did. Less than an hour for the locals. That's unreal !!

football stadiums are also usually a good deal bigger than baseball stadiums.....








...not to mention, a good portion of seats at PNC park are still in their shrink wrap.

I just saw it pix. Deleted as duplicate topic. I used my magical mod power to see it. I am sure the game in Pitt will be great, two good teams with stars makes it very appealing.

seriously? there's NO reason to watch this then...judging by the icons, it looks like the caps will go circa early 90's and the pens...well, looks like the same ones. at least the 2nd jersey we had. still powder blue though...*sigh* i really, really, really want the 93 alternitive (pittsburgh diagonal on the front)

Japers (the caps main blog) says they won't be, just the logos and a mock up of the rink.

Steckel is a badass , they can't all be Brooks Laich with their style.....ha ha

i mean, it's better than the usual NHLN summer line up. lets play a billion old games instead of acutally monitoring the current teams! don't get me wrong, i love the classic games, but that's all they do! they just take off the summer...as of right now they've just talked to sid, mario, GMGM, steckel, shero, with intermittant commercials. all have been asked the same questions i swear.

nah, i like watching the old games, i do...but they have it on ALL day through the entire summer, so it just seems like they mail in the summer as far as coverage goes. i mean, the NFL network keeps it going through the worlds longest offseason
