You know what, I take everything back.....he DID take a VERY QUICK extra 3rd step with his right foot before the shot went up, but that never gets called however
It really was a close call. I'm not hating at all, i'm glad that fucker took the last shot instead of passing, even though he traveled... (A little :p)

Vogel needs to be punched in the sack by Hibbert. Now that's the real story, what the flying fuck was he thinking?!?! It's not like he's Andrew Bogut, or DeAndre Jordan. He's just as good a FT shooter as Lebron James has been this season.

All I know is that if you're Frank Vogel and you want to keep your job, let alone keep your will to live, YOU WILL NOT BENCH/SIT ROY HIBBERT!

Here is the thing about the Hibbert situation.

Should Hibbert have been in the game? Of course

But if Miami runs the same exact play do you really think Hibbert makes it in the paint to challenge that shot?

If Miami had Bosh at the 3 point line and Hibbert was guarding him somewhat tightly as Young was, there is no way Hibbert makes it make in the paint to challenge LBJ shot in under 2 seconds.

Again, I'd live with Bosh taking a 3, or like one poster said "Takling'' LeBron James and sending him to the free throw line. You don't give James that wide open of a lane... EVER! 100% that shit is going in. LeBron is a freak, and you give him the easiest lane he's probably ever seen in his whole career? Fuck Bosh, and keep Hibbert in the paint.

I have to come to one of 2 conslusions with seeing Lebron get from the 3pt line to the basket in one dribble after taking 5 steps:

1) Lebron is the GOAT at what he does
2) The NBA isnt a team sport that I want to watch

I have one question. Why did Young not tackle Lebron? He actually backed up and let him have the layup.

That game was like a movie where they create several endings and we got to see all of them during the same showing.

I did. 2 steps, after the dribble. Not sure what it is you guys THINK you're seeing, but there's no travel on that play at all.

He took 2 steps, and a jump......all legal.

Agree!! He takes one step, dribbles once, then takes 2 steps. On the 2nd step, he goes up for the layup!! As much as I hate it, it was not travelling!!:gaah:

Hibbert should have been in the game. Even if it means giving Bosh an open mid-range jumper. Better Bosh shooting a 15 footer than Lebron shooting a layup.

Having said that, the bigger problem was George overplaying Lebron. If George just stays between Lebron and the hoop, Lebron ends up with a tougher shot and no one is talking about Hibbert not being in the game!!

Looked like he traveled to me. You aren't supposed to be able to take a step like he did before you put the ball down. You see this called on spin moves in the post all the time. I know Lebron is a freak athlete, but players never used to be able to get to the rim from the 3-point line on one dribble. Players are also allowed that extra step now when picking up the dribble, basically getting 3 steps instead of 2.

Leaving Hibbert out on the last play wasn't the only Indiana goof. Hibbert was out the previous defensive possession as well when Lebron got an easy layup. Not sure why George switch off Lebron leaving Hill isolated on Lebron. Hill had no chance especially with no Hibbert to help out on the drive. Then on the last play, not only did George overplay it, but I didn't think West made much of an effort defending the inbounds passer.

If Lebron traveled no one appeared to see it but the Lebron haters. Damn even the Pacers did not see it. Not one of them protested with a traveling motion which is typical of most players on the opposite team just out of habit when they see it.
