BS. casual bettors do care about lines. The Heat get action. but a lot of people want to see Miami lose and bet against them. that's why line moves. if to much money comes on one side, vegas moves lines to get more money on the other side of the bet. Vegas makes a fortune every night. But the outcome of a game doesn't effect the amount Vegas makes by a whole lot.. There will never be exactly the same on each side, but Vegas will balance it as close as possible.

You really think Vegas was going to lose money if Miami blew them out tonight? Get real. Those huge casinos weren't built because Vegas odds were ever against the house.
A quick google search has a site with 55% of betters wanted Indiana to win outright and 58% of the spread money went to Miami. Vegas won both as per this site.

Last play was just a good design by Spo with Lebron making a great play. Hibbert would have made no difference. It's a clear out. Everyone runs out to create space for Lebron to work. George just overplayed it badly giving up the layup instead of forcing a jump shot. Vogel inserted Hansborogh because he's quicker. If you noticed, Hansborogh is on Allen on that last play. No way Hibbert can chase him out there. Put Hibbert in for Young, its not much difference. He'd be on Bosh with little time to react. It was just a great play by Miami.

However, Hibbert should have been in the game on the prior play with 14 seconds left. I'd concede a Bosh 3 pointer to keep Hibbert in the paint. Plus, George and Hill fucked that switch up badly on Lebron.

yes it is. WATCH the play, he takes two steps AFTER the dribble.
From what I saw from that GIF from the poster, it looks like he took 3 steps. I could be wrong. I'm trying to find another angle of that drive to the basket. If I do find it and i'm wrong, I like my crow burnt to a crisp and i'll eat it in one bite.

it's called a hop step.. it's legal.. and the guy saying it's travelling clearly doesn't understand basketball..

whoever said it's travelling google: hop step. read up..watch videos.. learn the game. this is a basic offensive move used all the time.

Now if you wanna debate if he took a couple of very quick steps before dribbling is another story....although that was so quick that I can't even tell by watching it over and over, less known a ref catching it on the spot.

Your counting a step BEFORE he picks up his dribble. There are only 3 total steps in the entire play.
Nope, more like 4. He takes one step, dribbles, then takes 3 steps. But what do I know, I guess I need glasses, right?

You know what, I take everything back.....he DID take a VERY QUICK extra 3rd step with his right foot before the shot went up, but that never gets called however

Had to re-watch it again. Dribble, Right foot, left foot, right foot then lay-in. Don't think anybody in the world could catch that in live time though.
