one telling note so far, rebounding. seems the Pacers are getting after them so far. need to keep the Heat from getting O-boards, though. that's hurt 'em so far...

This is a traditionally telling statistic that for some reason does not apply to this Miami Heat. They always are out rebounded, always take less shots and win far more often than not. Let's break down why in this weeks...tosh.0 would call it a break down

Rebounding would be a weakness even if they tried to rebound but they don't. They send their players back immediately in transition giving up most chances of having a rebound with the intention of stopping transition points.

This does not hurt the Heat nearly as much as it sounds like it would, why? Because they are very efficient. They miss less shots so there fore they are giving up less rebounds.

With all that being said it is pretty clear why they take less shots...and still win.

Side note, another reason they can play this style is they play great D.

They can also give up an above average number of D rebounds because their D is so smothering...when they want to be.

The Heats game plan basically makes their weakness exaggerated and their strengths indestructible. Spo is probably the most underrated coach in the NBA (still not top 3)

These refs been terrible all series long.

In the Bulls series they only had 1 bad game which was game 2

so you say. I say they need to keep 'em off the offensive glass. one of the factors that was giving them fits so far in this series, PLUS keep the turnovers down. the Pacers do that and i think they should be fine...

Hibbert and West are consistently fouling the Heat players when they're being fronted. You cannot push the opponent who is fronting you. That is a blatant offensive foul and those 2 been getting away with it all series long

What gave them fits was Allen and Battier shooting miserably. Game 1 and 2 were close and those 2 were horrible. Game 3 was a blow out when they ignored the 3. They literally just stopped shooting it and the game was not even close.

Their weakness has always been rebounds of all kinds and the biggest shit Bosh takes is for his "soft" rebounding.

Side note: Bet that whole E0.86 and now I have a E1.68 on the heat money line...LETS GO!!! 3 EURO ROLL HERE I COME!!!

Oh man I was thinking that same thing when I saw that. I do not understand how he is still allowed to officiate after getting suspended for a season.
