I read that the reason he chose Miami is because he knows he'll get good minutes there and he's hoping to land one more big contract. At his age, I wonder how much teams will offer him this coming offseason.

I agree -- I think playing time was a big piece. If he went to the Cavs and if they were healthy in the playoffs, I could see them playing JR in front of JJ -- and JJ only get 10 minutes / game.

And he starts in his first game with Miami so yeah playing time was key

I think the East is still the Cavs to lose, but I don't think it's the slam dunk that some on here do.
