Headsets. In the market. What do you use?

I am looking at the Turtle Beach Elite 800. The one they are spamming the shit out of on mlg.tv.

I love the internal mic, wireless options , and magnetic charge stand. But hate the price.

The other option is the Astro A40. I see a lot of the whipper snappers using these and say they are the best. At $70 cheaper it seems like a great option.

Opinions on this???

I used A40's in the past and they were decent. Very comfortable. They were my 3rd or 4th headset in 2 years because the stupid USB charging port would break on cheap pairs. I complained but didn't tell anyone I was spending the money on A40's. So imagine my surprise when my dear old mother thought she was doing the best thing ever by buying me a pair of turtle beach xp Sevens. I like the turtle beach headset better, but the Astro mix amp blows the turtle beach one out of the water. IMO. I use my xp Sevens with the Astro mix amp.

Absolute best headsets though, if you're willing to pay for them are Sennheiser. If I'm ever in the market again I will find a way to justify buying a pair of 363D's. Hot to wear a pair once and they just feel so much better. There is a noticeable upgrade in sound too. And if you ever hear somebody else wearing them the mic is as good as most stand alone mics. 100x better than most mics even on $200 headsets.

And BTW what are you doing watching MLG TV? Twitch is literally 70,000,000 times better. I just watched a dota 2 tournament on MLG this past weekend and I couldn't wait for that tournament to end so I could leave MLG forever.

The game I play is cod.

The best players in the world for cod are on mlg.tv.

I don't mess with dota2.

Twitch is way more than just dota2. I watch other games on there all the time when I'm bored of playing. There's gotta be some good cod streamers on twitch. From what I understand they pay by far the best. Although I guess the big shooter at the moment seems to be cs:go CoD doesn't seem to be on the front page very often.

If you like mlg though, I guess it doesn't bother me. Twitch just is a way superior streaming service imo.

CS:GO is on fire right now. I prefer h1z1 for a PC game. Both to play and stream.

I fear I will have another game addiction if I start Cs:go

The one that came in the box with my system. I can't stand playing a game with giant headphones for very long. I wish I could still use my bluetooth headset that I used with my PS3 on the PS4.

Wireless. Bought them off craigslist for around 150.
