I didn't see enough to let it bother me. Either way, the ref was going with what he thought so who cares. Does make you wonder though if the refs from now on will ask for verbal confirmation of what they heard...

I don't get it at all. He says TAILS, the ref says TAILS and points to an Eagle for verification and heconfirms TAILS. Whats the problem?

I don't really know. I thought the little guy said tails originally. Then it seems like there is some confusion between the other player and the second ref but I couldn't make out what they were saying. Just thought it was funny that a group of 10 year old kids in the park could do this without confusion and the NFL can't...

Haven't listened, but the vine looks like the guy is saying tails.

All I know is the winning TD should have been called back because of holding,but maybe the ref was getting impatient to go give his BF a BJ

I can't tell one way or another, but all body language says he called tails. There was plenty on time for one of the Eagles to react before the coin is tossed and Witten didn't react. This crying is lame, Dallas lost time for TB.

Interesting. I never saw one person cry about it. As a matter of fact I never even heard about it other than this one article and thread
