Will they be equipped with headsets, so that the coaches can whisper the stolen signs? :noidea:

I can totally see that happening. Concussions and lawsuits are the name of the game these days. I guess having all your marbles at age 40 is probably a good thing, although it's turned the NFL into a laughable mess right now.

What football will look like in 2030. a.k.a, will be played by robots.

I can only hope then that baseball can stave this off for many more years to come.....

Leave sports alone. Totally. If athletes don't want to accept the inherent risks, that's totally understandable and no one is twisting their arm to do anything.

:agree::agree::agree:

However, this issue has little to do with individual athletes, and their either long term or short term health.

This is all about the all mighthy sports $$, and the sports team owners want to keep their gravy trains rolling for as long as possible.

Pitchers wearing protective gear inconveniences you how again? Will it make games unwatchable for you?

batters wear elbow pads, shin pads, top of the foot pads, helmets, forearm pads all for at tops 100 mph fastball.....pitchers wear, ummmmmmmm, for 100 mph +++ hit balls, think the padded hat is more than fair. Maybe even those basketball facemasks would work as long as they get to paint them like Hockey goalies do.

if a pitcher wants to wear an old time earless batting helmet, they should just force them to be matte finished, but odds are a pitcher would have a bad outing and not want to wear it anymore.
