Hawks Own NFC West.

Since realignment their has only been one Superbowl Winning team from the NFC West and rightfully So it was the Hawks.

We as fans know that the Hawks have pretty much DOMINATED this division since being shoved into it. It makes you wonder how many more Superbowls the Hawks would have had they Always been in this division. Think about the History of the NFC West. They have had some pretty piss poor teams allowing the 49ers one of the easiest paths to the playoffs. We move here and have all ready been to 2 superbowls in 12 years after 26 years and 0 superbowls LMAO. The funny thing is this Division is way more competitive than in the 80-90's.

Some times it's just the luck of the draw or the luck of the division you are in. Then again the Hawks could win it all in ANY division right now because ... well because they are the greatest team in the NFL

I don't really care about the past. That argument only comes out when other teams try to show their dusty trophies to us. I care that this season we are the champs and nothing changes that until a team beats us in the playoffs. I am hoping for a long, long run of playoff victories.

You can't only use stats when you like them. If you want to talk about since realignment fine. But if you want to bring into play "how many titles you would have won" then those stats are in play.

With an overwhelming winning record against the Rams to pad that record. Yes you have winning records against AZ and SF since 2002 but you haven't "owned" them. Perhaps you should change the title of this thread to "Hawks own the Rams".

To be fair, the Rams had drunk GMs for about a decade.

The new NFC West model is going to be 'go 3-3 in division, 8-2 out of division' and any team that gets a road win in the division will be in the driver's seat.

Maybe. The new playoff rules are going to totally f- the NFC West, imo, with only 1 team getting a bye week

The Hawks were not PART of the NFC West. You can not say "well before the Hawks were here we were blah blah blah" You whiner fans are so clueless. The NFL is different Now, very VERY different. There are 4 Division in each conference for a total of 8. Not 3 for a total of 6. Every Division has 4 teams instead of 3 division with 5. Every team plays 6 Divisions games Not 8. Every team plays more games outside the division now not a 50/50 split. The Hawks are NOW a NFC West team not a AFC West team.

To much has changed to ignore the fact that the NFL NOW is totally different than it was in say 2001. But hey I TOTALLY understand wanting to live in a era of football that is FOREVER GONE because that was when you had your success. But it's like that poor guy we all have heard about that still loves his Highschool girlfriend from 20 years ago even though she is married with 5 kids and doesn't even remember who he is lol. ahh come on, lets be humble champs. This is the best division in football and I respect the other 3 teams immensely. Easily the hardest part of repeating will be getting out of this division alive. 10-6 or 11-5 could easily win it due to the strength.

Actually I`d be real proud of the NFC West as far as defense goes. I think that division has some very good,young defenses that if they can improve on their offensive woes, might be very dominant for a few years. Besides Seattle and 9ers, rams and Cards are better D`s than any AFC teams IMO. Going to be fun to see what happens with the later two if they can get some pieces to their offensive probs.

Just stating facts.
Since realignment, in 12 seasons The Rams have won the division once, the Cardinals twice, the 9ers thrice and Seattle has won it 6 times.
To me, that is dramatic as Seattle has won the division as many times as the other teams have won it combined.
If we are hated for stating this, me thinks some might be too sensitive.

also Seahawks have 6 NFC West titles since being moved into the NFC West ( 12 years ago ) meaning they win the west 50% of the time. There are 4 teams in the NFC West not 2 lol. Seattle Has 6 NFC West titles San Fran has 3, Cards have 2, Rams have 1. So it takes the 49ers, Cards AND Rams to = the number of NFC West titles the Hawks have won ( Domination ).

The Seahawks have Made the playoffs 7 times in 12 years ( 58.3%). 49ers have made it 4 times in 12 years ( 33.3% ) The Rams and Cards both have made it 2 times in 12 years ( 16.6% ) Again Dominated by the Hawks.

Also they can hate Hawks fans, this is the SEAHAWKS board so if they are trolling like they are then let this make them upset. This was just supposed to be a thread for Hawk fans but we got butt hurt trolls chiming in lol. For me that's a win/win. had they stayed OFF our board they wouldn't need to see the chest thumping.

I am fine with history for the sake of it, but the reason I have issue with it is we have been telling Niner fans all season that only this season matters and not their previous history. It might be true, but it just doesn't matter. This season and this team matters.

Let's just enjoy this season and this championship, and then start looking at defending it in a couple weeks when the combine begins.
