Dano was originally drafted with the 27th overall pick in 2013, which was the Kings' pick that went to Columbus in the Johnson/Carter deal. Little LA connection for you there.

That trade was actually voted by ESPN as the best trade in the league in the last 5 years. Has paid off huge dividends still to this day.

Dano was supposed to be the key to make us forget about Saad. Did not get much of a shot with Q. Anisimov was a guy the Bowmans wanted for a while. Scouts did their duty our in Russia to snag Panarin, he allowed fans to forget about Sharp, but bottom line, this front office is never going to fully trust these kids and give them enough of a shot to fill the holes opened up by losing big dollar UFA's when they for some reason give Seabrook the best deal of any of our D men. If you are ready day 1 like Saad, Toews, Kane, Panarin, Danault, you have a chance of sticking. Otherwise you ride the bus until you are dealt.

Its funny, we were joking about finding another dano for a dano line like your70's line, we had dano, danault were missing another wing.
