I'd like to.

My question is what role does and should the government have in defining marriage? If I am not mistaken wasn't marriage legally created as a way of keeping property in the family? I certainly do not believe the government has any role in preserving the "sanctity of marriage". So yeah, I think they should allow marriage between any two adults that seek it. That's my political opinion.

My personal opinion is why the hell do I care if two consenting adults of the same sex get married or not. They could live together or have a civil union anyway so its not really stopping anything. So I think they should be given the same rights as other citizens.

Good for Avery for taking a stand, the correct one IMO. I am fine with the agent speaking his mind too.
