I don't know about you guys, but I CAN'T WAIT for the Richard Sherman contract negotiations to begin.

Thats going to be the best offseason drama. Even better will be if they don't give him one and make him play out his final year for 650K....

CAn you imagine sherman's reaction?

How do you know your team's season is all but over?

When you start celebrating future hypothetical struggles of better teams.

Signing Sherman is not a hypothetical struggle. It is a solidly booked comedy/drama coming to theaters soon.

No, it's a hypothetical.

The cap goes up next year and the Seahawks will need to trim some fat. But if dreaming about a hypothetical scenario of the Seahawks makes you feel better about the current reality of the niners I wont stand in your way.

And your obsession is not hypothetical either.

You really should leave your hand alone for awhile and meet someone.

LOL, you have one of the most underpaid rosters in the league.... and certainly one of the most underpaid secondaries in the league.

I actually think thats a pretty good reaction for when kaepernick gets even the slightest bit of pressure.

I was wrong, but at least I based it on last years struggles and not pulled out of my ass like the concepts found in this thread.. And.... at least you are struggling to beat bad teams. That at least brings me a little joy.

I have said many times I give the Seahawks credit for beating bad teams on the road, something they struggled with last year.

The journey of a 1000 miles begins with the 1st step.

So....you now want to talk about next year and what problems the Seahawks will have. I guess your giving up on the 49ers this year. Fair enough, I can understand you writing this season off. Tell me what do you think the 49ers are going to do about their QB problem. If Kaep doesn't turn a corner very soon, 49ers are going to in the market for a new QB IMO.

We are near the cap, somewhere within $4 million or so.
If we are that close to the cap, how are we one of the most underpaid rosters?

Secondly, you squeel with delight when you talk about our upcoming negotiations with many that will be due raises. Guess what, if they want too much, another team will be fortunate enough to pay a kings ransome for them and the player will go to a team he wont like as much.
Notice how we have done without Rice, Okung, Breno, Percy, Unger, Wagner, and Browner. We have depth and lots of it. Our FO has proven to be able to spot low cost, high reward talent.
We obviously have a plan.
Rice will drop about $8-$9M off our cap alone. I believe he is done. Miller may be near the end of his tenure here and there are some millions available that you have referred to (the expense of Zack's contract) about 100 times.
Seahawk fans are very comfortable with our situation and know that some of those we have raised will take flight. Then...next man up.
Our window is very big, comparatively.

Exactly, moron. Most of the major contributors are underpaid, that makes most of the overpaid players the fat. Roster turnover is part of the game, I say to this point they've been pretty good at putting a roster together. But I guess that's all going to fall apart like Kap in the pocket though.

Yeah hey put quite the roster together..... 5 PED suspensions and a drug suspension. They really know how to find the good ones.

Just quoting the troll that is ALWAYS correct, and claims things like "I never said that"

So what you are saying is the contract neg. will be filled with drama and circus like acts.
If Sherman and the Seahawks sign a LARGE contract without any hitches or unnecessary media back and forth, are you still correct because Sherman got paid? Or wrong, because there was no controversy?

10-1 > 6-4

And with zéro shootings or teammates breaking bottles over eachothers heads. Oh, and zéro instances of the QB pissing himself under pressure.

You gotta love the roster that has retaken what was ours, the NFCW. We let your team rent the division crown for a couple of years as we rebuilt.

Watching the KC game now. Alex looks great.
