So you're saying he is a better QB than Manning...I get ya
No, that his team knows how win "when it matters".

You sir are incorrect.
No, that his team knows how win "when it matters".
Didn't they lose in the same round as the Broncos last year?
Yesterday the Colts challenged them all game and really dictated the defense.
The week before? The Texans scored all of their points in one flurry of offense that lasted about 10 minutes. Outside of that, they hardly passed midfield all game.
Yes.
They won when it mattered, then lost when it mattered. The Broncos just lost when it mattered.

I got yah...Can't expect defenses to always hold teams. Unfortunately the NFL sets up to help the offense way too often and the days of the dominating defense are starting to look like they are in the rear view mirror. The Colts are a very good offense so no surprise that they had some success. I expect when the Broncos play them in a couple of weeks it will unfortunately look possibly similar to the game I watched yesterday against the Cowboys.
Honestly yesterday's loss is not that big of deal in the grand scheme of things. It is a long season and most likely every one of the top teams will at least have a couple of them. Sometimes those losses are exactly what a team needs to have a wake up call that they are fallible. The Broncos actually after every win watch last years game against Baltimore to remind themselves to keep pushing and learning from their mistakes.
Here's to seeing your team in the Superbowl.
So it's more impressive to not have a bye than to have a bye? Makes sense. The Broncos lost to the Super Bowl Champions in overtime (by a fluke play) while the Seahawks were defeated by a team that lost its next game.
It is more impressive to win in the WC round and lose in the division round on the road than just lose the division round at home. I dont care who you're playing, it's not impressive to get the top seed and be one and done. And if you do, you certainly dont have room to talk about other teams not being able to "win when it matters".
Yes.
They won when it mattered, then lost when it mattered. The Broncos just lost when it mattered.
It really took the pomp and bluster out of the entire conversation.![]()
I liked that one.
Harvin is on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, but can return in Week 7. It's possible, although seemingly unlikely, Harvin could return after the game this weekend against the Tennessee Titans.
If Harvin passes his physical next week, he would have three weeks to practice and possibly return to the roster. He is eligible to start practicing Oct. 15.
The Seahawks made a surprising roster move last weekend that could indicate they expect Harvin to return sooner than expected. The Seahawks released receiver Stephen Williams on Saturday in order to active linebacker Bruce Irvin for the game at Indianapolis, leaving the team with only four active receivers.
we're already way past that part of the conversation...so far, no one seems to care
