Texas Rangers SP Matt Harrison (back) will need to undergo back surgery Tuesday, April 23, to fix a herniated disc in his back.

Had the same ailment ... hurt big time. Had to climb up chairs to get vertical. But it went away over time and I just dealt with it with 800mg of Motrin before playing golf.

Wonder why it did not show up on an MRI before they were shooting him up with steroids to treat it? Obamacare wouldn't reimburse for that sort of backwards treatment plan.

Not an FA arm. In sure JD is trying to figure out a trade without getting fleeced. Unsure how far Colby and Perez are from being back. Are we going to play the waiting game or are we looking more seriously now?

Think JD waits it out a bit to see how Grimm and Scheppers perform. I wonder about D.Price and if the Rays continue to struggle.
