I don't get it, the rule is hitting a defenseless player, McCoy was scrambling and saw the player who hit so he was not defenseless he just chose not to defend himself. I don't know how that could have even been flagged let alone a suspension. I like the league trying to protect it's players, not launching at the head of a defenseless player, not using a players equipment to make a tackle, etc... but they need to make the personal fouls reviewable like how TD's are done, the booth official would just confirm the penalty or can pick up the flag via pager, no need for the head official to go under the hood.

Good idea but they would probably need the head official to go under the hood. It kills me but i believe they should be reviewable, the reason it kills me is because the game is already slowed down quite a bit. But whats everyones take on this? Would you want them to be reviewable and slow the game down some? Or should the reffing be a full time job where they can fully educate the refs all year?

Personally i think one or the other needs to be done. Otherwise there is going to be a questionable call in the playoffs that will cost a team a game.

There was no review that was going to over turn the hit Harrison put on McCoy. He could have let up or aimed for the chest. He put this helmet right into McCoys chin and his hands into his chest and then exploded through him. It was a great hit but a personal foul no matter how you want to spin it.

He defended himself by getting rid of the football.

No, it's not. In this case it is leading with the crown of your helmet and driving it into an opponent's facemask. That is what he was penalized for and he does it all the time. The dude is dangerous and needed to be scanctioned.

Worilds got his reps in, this season. He has been starting at LOLB for the injured LaMarr Woodley, who happens to lead the Steelers in sacks. Woodley is now healthy, and not listed on the injury report. I can see him sliding over to ROLB on Monday, and Worilds will just continue to play at the left linebacker spot.

The real concern for Pittsburgh is Roethlisberger. If he can't go.... the Steelers are in big trouble.

It's not really a big deal if Harrison is not playing. If Big Ben can't go though it will cripple the Steelers. They would have to rely more on the running game you'd think against the best rushing D in the league. It would really hurt their passing game advantage and deep threats if Big Ben is unable to play.

Even if he does play it will be interesting to see how mobile he is on that ankle.
