What do you mean class is only suppose to be 12-15? Is that the amount of scholarships you have available?

Yup, two things Hoke did exceedingly well, recruit and keep kids on campus. That's why I am not overly concerned about this one class.

Wait a minute...I thought the only thing Hoke did right in 4 years was win the annual ann arbor chicken wing challenge each year?:noidea:

Considering both the 2012 and 2013 classes were top 10, and that almost no one from either has left the program:
Hokepoints: Attrition Update, the Worst is Over | mgoblog

Hoke left Harbaugh with a primed pump, ready to kick the Bucks in the nuts.

It won't happen overnight but JH will get the program back to where it was, back into the top 25. But not good enough to beat Ohio State:nod:. Right now I'm pretty confident that Ohio State will roll into ann arbor on 11/28 & leave with a W!

I think people will be surprised how fast he turns Michigan around, the talent is most certainly there, it is only a question how fast can Harbaugh get them up to speed?

It's not like I am necessarily predicting Michigan will win the Big Ten next year (though they certainly could), but you also have to remember, even Hoke gave Meyer all he could handle. Do you remember how close it came last time the Game was played in the Big House?

You honestly think they could win the BigTen in 2015? If so...:pound::lol::laugh3:

Now that's a classic. And you're acting as if close games don't happen in The Rivalry. 3 of the last 4 have been decided by 7 points or less. It's not uncommon for games to be close.

So given how close it came, and now that Michigan has gotten a huge upgrade at the HC position, you still think Michigan doesn't have a chance?

As for winning the Big Ten, Michigan's schedule is very favorable, playing both MSU and OSU at home. They have the talent to compete with anyone in the nation, again it is only a question on how fast Harbaugh can make up for the lack of development they've had up until now. So if he can develop them quickly (and is evidence that he can, see 49ers in 2010 and then in 2011), and the chips fall right, they very well could win.

A top 10 recruiting class doesn't mean those players turned out well or were developed at all.

You don't seem to grasp this concept. Those players didn't pan out and some were underdeveloped. You don't have the talent to compete with anyone. If you did, you would make it to a bowl game on talent alone.

Fucking Illinois made it to a bowl game and you didn't. Spare me the "we have the talent" bullshit. Use some common sense man!

I'm not saying JH won't turn things around but the NFL & CFB are incomparable. Two totally different games. I think he'll take care of business but it simply won't happen overnight.

I guess Harbaugh figured his stellar reputation would have recruits flocking to Michigan.

Yeah. Reuben Jones was on the fence after Pelini got fired.

And with that, Hello Reuben Jones. Just committed.

I think we do. It would be statistically illogical to argue all those kids from the past 3 top 15 recruiting classes were all busts. The talent is there. Coaching was not.

I would pump the brakes on that. I do not know where the state of !ichigan is right now, but from the outside it looks like it will take at least a few years. Don't forget this was a wasted recruiting class. The good news is next year will likely be 30+, as earlier entrants will count towards the 2015 class. He is good coach give him time

It's illogical to think they will magically develop into studs as well. It takes more than one off season not to mention they need to learn a new playbook. As I said in another post, if Illinois made it to a bowl and you didn't, there is a lot less talent then you think.
