Cant say we all didnt see this coming but its tough to see them falling so far so quickly. You all know much more than I do about their situation but 1 off year and they should get back to at least an average team right? Is it the Kovy contract that is doing the damage or what?

I dont know, but this is by far the worst devils team I have ever seen. Just finished watching todays game and we are just horrible in every aspect. This is the worst team the devils have ever put together. Even worse than the 80s teams. The reason I say that is because with all the talent this team has, there is NO and I mean NO excuse to be this bad. We cant even hit the net. The 5 on 3 PP says it all.... I dont think Rick D even had to make a save... Arnott missed the net at least twice, and everything else was that pass pass pass pass pass.... sharp angle shot, missing the net, flys out of the zone on the other side because it missed the net.... It is just mind boggling that we cant even hit the net with those shots.... yet they can score there second goal from the goaline, worst angle ever.... I have been a long time fan of the devils and they will always be my hockey team. I have seen all the highs and most of the lows... but this is the lowest... There is no reason and I cant explain it... but I dont see a fix no matter what they do... playing bad is just playing bad...
