Then I'll just have to cheat. I am a +0.5 so I give the course a half a stroke anyway.

It's not what your giving the course it's what you're not giving your competitors if & when you play a handicapped match. If you rarely card more than a double it probably wouldn't make much difference but it's still sandbagging.

I usually only enter the gross portion of any tournament but I have played in NET tournaments in scrambles. I rarerly make more than a double but I've made the occasional snowman and I write it down. To me, and I know you disagree, that is the only accurate way to measure your ability.
