Flyers GM Paul Holmgren announced this morning that defenseman Erik Gustafsson has been recalled from the Flyers' AHL affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, and will join the team in Ottawa this afternoon.
This is Gustafsson's second recall to the NHL. He was previous recalled on Dec. 29 to Jan. 3, however did not play.
He currently has 33 points (5G-28A) and 10 penalty minutes in 53 games for the Phantoms. He leads the Phantoms in assists (28) and is tied for the team lead in points (33).
