I loved Gus Johnson when he called NCAA tourney games. One of the best College basketball announcers..

So I was stoked when I heard he would be calling CFB games on FOX.

But I have been heavily disappointed. He is a terrible football announcer.

He's best when calling high tempo games like basketball. Football just has too much down time for him. I bet he would be a natural at calling hockey.

I would follow hockey much more closer if he was calling it.
