I thought the refs did a fine job during the Flames - Pens game on Saturday (the only call I thought was a bit dubious was the Malkin trip in the 3rd period as I thought Geno helped the refs make that call). I do have issues with the icemakers at Consol Energy Center, though, they definitely tilt the ice in the Penguins favour.

B. They would cancel the game at Heinz altogether for rain!? WTF!? Just throw a fucking tarp over it or something and wait for it to stop, its not gonna rain for three days. Thats crazy. To invest all that time and money and not have a solid backup is a little ridicuous. Theres gotta be a "safety" to safe guard that possible outcome.

I grew up in 'the Burgh'... and I have some serious doubts that it is going to rain on January 1st. If there is any precip falling from the sky, i'm betting on snow.

Snow would be fucking saweet! I dont wanna see slow play like in Buffalo, if it snows, I wanna see them beast each other on ice... How sweet would a high speed, intense game between two of the leagues best be outdoors with snow falling... Might not be safe, but fuck it, thats what they get paid for.
