GUILLOTINE LEAGUE?

If something is done wrong or someone knows a better way of doing this league, please bring it to my attention and we as a group can discuss it. Remember this is the first time any of us have done this style league and there are bound to be ways to improve the way it is being done.

well the way it is now it rewards the last place team(not the eliminated one) 2 times by them getting 1st pick on waivers and also reset of points makes them tied for 1st
So what that does is its not the best team all year but the best team each week ( or 2 weeks sometimes) Im ok as it is just some food for thought

Yeah WW vs Auction is something that needs to be discussed for next year. As far as redoing the points each period I am of the opinion that doing it that way eliminates the possibility of one team running away from everyone early. Which is always a problem in pure points based leagues.

BTW the last place team doesn't necessarily have the first WW. The WW goes in reverse draft order and only changes when someone uses a WW pick. That team then goes to the bottom of the order. The order does not change each week

This is the WW order right now


Lets say that after week 1 Shaneman uses a WW pickup and nobody else does. Then for week 2 the new order has everyone from 5th through 12th move up 1 spot and Shaneman is now 12th. The top 3 stayed the same

I was just clarifying. I'm in a lot of leagues and honestly wasn't sure if we could trade or not. The rules all just mesh together sometimes.
