In Cincinnati's last game this year, played in bad weather the Bengals threw the ball 50+ times. That made a big impression on a lot of ex-NFLers who were on radio row this week at the Super Bowl. What do you think it means to Washington's future?

Not much. What choice did they have? They really didn't have a great running game.

Bengals had two RBs that totaled 1400 yards rushing and their rushing offense was mid pack. San Diego's rushing attack was mid pack.

It was cold and raining. Score was 10-7 Bengals at the end of the half and then ... Dalton went 17 of 34 for 170 yards with two interceptions, a fumble and three sacks in the second half. Chargers out scored the Bengals 20-0 in the 2nd half.

 No arguement. Just wondering what everyone expects and thinks the future of the team is. Just my opinion but I think Alf is the best offensive player the team has for now. I would hate to see that forgotten and maybe it won't be. A good running attack would help Griffin as he grows.

Hopefully it means he won't ruin griffin like Shanahan did his best to, and will keep him in the pocket and on rollouts.

i think you are over analyzing and one game does not a career make

cincy clearly has a better o/line then we do and a better wr corp and neither bengals RB is in the class of AM

i think we should wait to see what gruden wants to do and how he uses our players before we go off on tangents

the bengals made the playoffs 3 years in a row with gruden running the offense . for our team that would be a great aspiration

Why is a question a tangent? This particular scenario was not initiated by me, this was the topic of conversation on radio row this past week on two different local radio stations with as many ex-NFL players or coaches.

There is nothing wrong with this question. We are now in the Dead Zone for us NFL fans. For the next 2 months or so, we are going to drive each other crazy with what if questions. If you can't stomach it, I'd suggest you take some time off until something concrete happens. I know I am.

perhaps tangent was too strong a word . perhaps i should have left that word out . the answer to your question i wouldnt read too much into one game
