And yet Beamer has put up with Newsome and Stinespring for 6 and 10 years respectively. The fan base that DOESN'T have Hokie blinders on has seen how this team has won despite those 2. Now Beamer and his worshipers can't even say that they're winning games. If Beamer doesn't move Stinespring or fire Newsome then it shows weakness and/or stupidity...especially Newsome

I just watched the Duke postgame interview of Beamer at hokiesports.com and I get the feeling that Beamer doesn't have it in him to fire anyone. He was talking up the O-line injuries, mentioned a tough schedule this year (lmao), and talked about there being a thin line between winning and losing, which I took to mean that he thought VT was close to being a good team this year. I can see Newsome being on the staff next year. Ho-ly Shit.
