My 1st period take:
Geno is obviously looking real good. Ditto that statement for Sid, however, sid is a bit unlucky, if he stays with it the entire game, he'll net one.
Lovejoy and Goligoski scare me when they are on the ice together. Martin really put Gogo in a tough spot on the PK which led to the goal, however goal 2, Gogo was out of position. I know the Pens system is to activate the D, but they have to be smarter. Also, Lovejoy and Gogo both went back to retrieve a dump-in and they both got out battled by one Bruin. Bad communication between those two right now, and Lovejoy does not have the speed to recover. They make me nervous when on the ice together.
how many more odd man rushes will the Pens give up today... and how many odd man rushes can start in your defensive zone, some poor decisions on jumping the puck carrier leading to low 2-1s.
Horton, the Penguin killer, will still score one today.
The Pens offense needs to continue the way they have played and the defense needs to play smarter.
