Great video, but always rough to watch the period for which he played for the Reds. It's almost as if he just quit playing for all of those years, and then POOF, he reappears in Seattle for one last ride. It's easy to think of what could have been had he stayed, but watching that video showed that Seattle was luckier than any other city to have had him on our side for as long as we did. I sure hope that someday guy's like Gary Payton & Shawn Kemp get their due in Seattle. It won't be a one last season type of send of the Kid had, but they deserve having a true ceremony that includes a jersey retirement in Seattle.

Pretty ironic that Stan and Jr were born on the same day in the same hometown and Stan played with Jr's grandfather.
