I love good ol’ rock music. As I said, this band is refreshing and will be huge. Most stuff on the air waves and on TV today is garbage including rap, pop, and what is known as country pop.

Not only do they rip off Zeppelin's sound with Page's sloppy, bluesy guitar and Plant's vocal style. They rip off their damn on-stage personas and fashion style. The singer even goes as far as miming Plant's movements and mannerisms in that Highway Tune video. It's such a damn turn-off for me... They're like a cover band.

There’s emulating some aspects, and there’s being a glorified tribute band. All bands in their development phase emulate their influences and in this case it is Led Zeppelin, mainly because of the lead singer's voice. My guess is they'll write even better songs in the future and maybe even add a second guitar to strengthen and differentiate their sound.

Where do we go from here? Is it time to move forward in music history yet? Can I get my band that looks, acts, and sounds just like the Ramones together yet? All I ask is the guys who look, act, and sound just like the Cure give us a good year and a half.
I think you’re minimalizing just how much they are ripping off a better band’s everything. You’re giving examples of bands that had clear influences, but still managed to be unique. Pearl Jam and REM are terrible examples if you’re trying to make excuses for a band that you’d think is some lost Led Zeppelin B sides no one wanted to hear if you just randomly heard them on the radio and didn’t know better.I think you're minimizing this band's quality and effort. Rock is ever evolving. there are always echoes of previous bands and styles. Listen to early Pearl Jam or REM, e.g., and you can say they were ripping off some other artist. Yes, you can get your own band and emulate the Ramones but no one will care if you can't add to or improve on what they've done. GVF writes their own lyrics and the music industry is rewarding them. Best new artist 2017 and four Grammy nominations 2019.

IMO, they cross the line that runs between "taking influence from" and "blatantly ripping off" a band.
They're not interesting to me and I'm their target demo. I want nothing more than a new rock band to enjoy.

Nice blouse....Three Kiszka brothers and drummer from Frankenmuth, MI. Their debut full length studio album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, was released on October 19, 2018, and topped the Billboard Rock Album charts the first week after its release.
Fantastic performances on SNL least night. Lead singer, Josh, a young Robert Plant. Also resembles young Dylan. This band will be huge.
Or I can just listen and judge for myself.
Crazy shit there.
I don’t think anyone should give a fuck. People like lame shit, I accepted that long ago.I think you are maximizing how much anyone should give a fuck. You either like the music or you don't. All I hear in this thread from haters is just a bunch of lame ass bullshit that hasn't a fucking thing to do with the music.
Do I give a shit what they look like? No, they can be 4 black girls and it's still the same fucking music.
Do I care who they sound like that use to play? No, it's still the same fucking music.
etc.
You guys feel free to wake me up when you got an actual argument and not just some hater bullshit.
