is he getting better or something?

he was kind of impressive yesterday, I think...
at least from what I saw, I guess I need to get off the 'Gresham sucks' kick.

Did you only watch the parts of the game where he wasn't single-handidly ending drives because of penalties?

First TE to do anything against the Lions D all year. I thought he played really well.

Yes, Gresham had some big catches in the game.

He also had 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in which he violently ripped his arm away from the ref. He probably could have been suspended for the play. As it was, the penalty interrupted a promising drive, leading to a long missed field goal.

On our penultimate series, he jumped offside on 3rd and 1..... Making it 3rd and 6. The Lions held, forcing us to punt. If you look at our team stats on third and short over the past few seasons, we do pretty well. This could have allowed us to waste the rest of the clock and kick a game winner.

Greshams mental mistakes are over showdowing his solid play.

At this point, it's clear that he simply isn't going to improve that part of his game. Eiffert should be seeing most of the snaps in a single formation, especially with the clock ticking down. He simply doesn't make the mental mistakes.

What good is catching the ball, if you can't remember the snap count?

I think Eiffert can make all the same plays...and not make the mental errors...

He gets absolutely no love at all from PFF....not just the penalties, but his blocking is graded as horrible....
