I'm thinking at this point they will have to win the Big Ten tournament to make it. Although they did beat a good Indiana team yesterday, I think they have more home losses this season than the previous 6 or 7 seasons combined.Wisconsin really doesn't want to miss out on the Big Dance… that was a good game. Other than Hayes shooting like 300 FT's.
I'm not sure why they are doing this, especially this year, as this is one of the weaker freshman classes in some time. I think they are trying to market the individual this year because there aren't any great teams this year, and the top teams like OU, Iowa, Xavier, Nova, Texas A&M, Virginia, Providence etc have little national appeal.
Just look at last year. UK, Duke, Wisconsin, Arizona, Kansas, Notre Dame were all top 8 teams. Much more national appeal to the casual fan IMO.

The more likely origin is that a bunch of NBA/NFL Draft picks went backstage at HE draft and got high as hell. Thus creating the "green room"The specific origin of the term is lost to history, which has led to many imaginative theories and claims. One story is that London's Blackfriars Theatre (1599) included a room behind the scenes, which happened to be painted green; here the actors waited to go on stage. It was called "the green room".

Too soon, douggie. Too soon.Ha! Maybe when Len Bias got high after being drafted by the Celtics, then dying the next day.
That's my way of saying I never, EVER want to hear about Len. I would have grown up watching Larry Bird and Len Bias playing together. It would have been unfair30 years is too soon?? Fuck that's a tough nut to crack apparently
