It did legit happen. That wasn't the first time he hosted a party that ended up being a home cooked prince meal before kicking their ass on the court. The true legend of Prince is the legit crazy shit that was legit true about him. One of a kind.

Oh I thought the Lions were a 1 seed with a win because of tiebreaker shit

If the Vikings beat Green Bay today, then the Vikings game in Detroit will determine both the 1st and 5th seeds. Vikings only have a chance because Detroit lost to Buffalo, giving the Vikes a chance to win the division based on outright wins by 1 game if they beat Detroit. But yeah, the Vikes were always screwed by tie breakers after they dropped game 1 to Detroit. Even a tied record with a Vikings win in Detroit would have given Detroit the 1 seed, as Detroit held the next tie-breaker after head to head competition.

It would not surprise me if the Packers win by double digits, being a fan of the Vikings for 50 years i've learned it's not a matter of if the Vikings let me down it's when. Being they control their own destiny they will lose one of the next two to mess that up and I believe right now the Packers are better than the Lions because of all the Lions injuries. So, Pack 34 Vikes 24
Ye have little faith, GG man

He had one child who died before birth, he felt to have another child would be an insult to his one beloved who died. He was an intense individual who was too empathic for his own good.
He was a complicated dude for sure, like most geniuses.

Apparently there's this amazing 9 hour documentary film made by Netflix that Prince fully participated with, but his estate won't let it be released because it doesn't whitewash his contradictions and shows his darker side along with the good stuff.

Prince, an unreleased nine-hour documentary by Ezra Edelman, is being held up by Netflix due to contractual issues with the estate of the late musician:

  • Content
The documentary includes interviews with former business partners, friends, and lovers of Prince, and includes allegations of physical and emotional abuse. It also explores Prince's childhood, including being kicked out of his mother's house at age 12 and his father's house at age 14.
  • Length
The documentary's contract stipulated that it could be no longer than six hours, but the final cut is nine hours long.

  • Estate's concerns
The estate is concerned that the documentary will "cancel" Prince and devalue the estate's bottom line. Prince biographer Matt Thorne is sympathetic to the estate's efforts to protect the musician's image.

Darnold has proven this year that he is the epitome of a QB who can be pretty damn good, most of the time, on an otherwise good team/offense. Even right in this game, he has shown both how good, and terrible he is capable of being.

Long story short, I wouldn't mind having him so long as the team he's on has a good offense to pair him with. The Vikings have arguably the best WR duo in the league with Jefferson and Addison, not to mention a high-end TE in Hockenson, all of which Darnold has properly taken good advantage of.

That being said, if the Vikings decide to pay Darnold big to take over as the future of the franchise, then that all but guarantees they won't be able to re-sign Addison when it comes time to pay him. Along with other tough choices. I'd rather take my chances with McCarthy as the future when we already know Darnold will suffer significantly from losing Addison/etc. due to the monster contract Darnold will command.

Darnold is just in the perfect situation right now, which is being on a good team where he's not blowing up half the salary cap single handedly. Put him on some crappy team with a monsterous deal for himself, thus immensely limiting how much help they could afford to give him, and I'd imagine that team would end up regreting that decision.
