Forget that last post.......here's a team that is totally full of WW wonders AND won the SB going away. Honestly one of the best teams this league has ever had and most came off the wire.................and probably the greatest WW QB ever next to Warner. BILLY VOLEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the WR we all waited fer to become active was McCardell............just admit it if you were playing back then you had a bid in on him..............admit it!

I actually drafted Johnson that year..............and ended up dropping him the week before he was named starter..............SMH.
I didn't draft him, but I had my eye on him after he went undrafted in my main league that year. I picked him up twice during the season, and had to drop him both times due to bye week hell (our league starts 16 and has a 6 man bench) for back to back weeks. Was totally planning on picking him back up when my DB or punter (yes, we have them) or whatever dumb ass position I had to cut him to fill, but some dude picked him up the week before the starter (Ellington, I think) got hurt to fill in for someone. He ended up keeping him.

I remember one of my buddies saying something to me the 2nd time I picked him up about me being really high on him if I keep picking him up and all he was at that point was a return man.

Can't believe the reigning Steelers fan didn't mention Willie Parker.

Anquan Boldin his rookie year.

I rushed to the waiver wire when I found out Ingram was out for the year with his shoulder thing.....

And preceded to add CJ Spiller in like 4 or 5 leagues, and Hightower in 0

not that they were waiver guys but in 2008.

I drafted both chris johnson, and matt forte...............great year because i got them way late in the draft
If I'm may. I'd like to say that Chris johnson was and will forever be the single most important player in fantasy football for me on a personal level. His speed was so beautiful and loved to watch him run. Every big long run was to me like watching a poem or an art piece. The guy will forever be my favorite fantasy football player

JuJu almost won me a title off waivers last year. Yardage league.

Boldin as a rookie. I'll never forget his first game.

He also may be the alltime holdout champ.

Same.
He was my favorite RB in that draft.
I still hate Arians because of it.

I remember everyone running to waivers to pick up some other back on the saints, but somehow I "knew" it was gonna be Hightower instead.:D

Larry Johnson, & Willie Parker are couple of mine. I have seen mentioned here.

One year I had my QB & back up QB get hurt same week.
So I went to the waiver wire & picked up the only guy I knew would start the next week. His name was Tony Romo!
